NAACP Reads
The NAACP and AURN have joined forces to develop a literacy program that promotes a grade-level reading campaign. It’s called NAACP Reads, and it’s designed to encourage young people to commit to reading.
The NAACP has just launched the NAACP Reads public awareness campaign in partnership with AURN, American Urban Radio Networks and my company, Tanya Hart Communications.
Our partnership has produced and distributed a radio campaign of public service announcements recorded by R & R performer Dave Hollister, gospel superstar Bobby Jones, music master-mind Jermaine Dupri, jazz, gospel, and R & B singer Kenny Latimore, and actress-singer Tatyana Ali.

Reading broadens the mind. Reading takes you on journeys. Reading makes young people better students because reading is truly fundamental.
You can even go one step further and sign the NAACP Reading Pledge at this link.
Listen to the public service messages from these industry leaders, and get behind the NAACP Reads campaign by encouraging your young people to read.
Be an example with NAACP Reads and provide encouragement to get your young people to commit to reading.
