He’s portrayed NFL Hall of Famer Floyd Little, baseball legend Jackie Robinson, and now he’s a fictional linebacker in Draft Day. Over the course of his career, Chadwick Boseman has been chosen for a series of significant roles, and he always delivers a powerful performance.
In Draft Day, Chadwick plays Vontae Mack, a linebacker with the goal of being a first-round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns. Kevin Costner plays Sonny Weaver, the General Manager of the Brown’s, and the two begin a contentious relationship.

He is originally from South Carolina and moved to the Nation’s Capital and graduated from Howard University.
He attended the British American Dramatic Academy at Oxford and then began his career as a director, actor, and playwright.
His next film is another significant role. Chadwick will play James Brown in movie Get On Up, which will be released this summer.
